All About Lutherans

What could be better than hot coffee, warm conversation and a chance to explore your faith with friends!

We offer breakfast and lunch, a light trip through Lutheran history and worship, and a look at how we differ from our Christian siblings in other denominations. And (of course) we take a peek at the Bible. Register through either pastor or the church office.

Table Talk on Healthcare

Regardless of our political worldview, we are all people of faith and we use both areas to inform our decisions on important matters impacting our families and our neighbor. It’s our hope that our Table Talk series will create an open forum to bring both together for honest conversation about these issues. Our next Table Talk is Sunday, November 24th at Noon and will be focused on healthcare. A light lunch will be provided. Pastor Ginn will lead us in a Bible Study to help explore how our faith can inform our Healthcare Policy decisions. This will be the first of two Healthcare Discussions. The second will be on January 12, 2020 and will feature a panel of healthcare professionals to answer questions from different perspectives. Our only agenda is open, honest, and faithful dialogue. So join us! SIGN UP IN THE NARTHEX.

Several folks have commented that this is their favorite worship service of the year. There’s just something about a community worshiping together. Come and see for yourself! Mark your calendar for an evening of praise, worship and fellowship shared with neighbors.

Advent Mid-Week Service

Our Advent theme this year is ‘wake-up call.’ The arrival of Jesus in the first-Century Jewish world was a wake-up call. He wasn’t at all the kind of Messiah people expected. His work in our lives is still a surprise most of the time. When has God stirred you up, made you stop and think? What event caused you to wake up and pay attention?

This year in our Advent midweek services we’ll hear stories of wake-up calls that made a change in someone’s life. Each week we will sing Holden Evening Prayer and a friend in our congregation will speak about a wake-up call in his or her life.
