Storytelling Weekend with Rebecca AndersonAdvent Lutheran in Charlotte and Cross & Crown Lutheran in Matthews will host a Storytelling Weekend February 6th-9th featuring Pastor Rebecca Anderson of Gilead Church in Chicago, a ‘storefront’ church built around storytelling and the belief that every story is a God story. Pr. Anderson will lead a workshop on telling your own story, offer individual coaching, and gather tellers for a storytelling evening with the theme, “Small Things Considered.” Anderson will preach Sunday morning at Cross & Crown, and Advent worshipers will hear that sermon replayed in their own space. Supported by grant funding, these events are free of charge and all are invited.
