The Community Care team is an amazing group of people who are dedicated to helping their community through outreach. Month after month they volunteer their time, advocate for local organizations, and support the community in countless ways. But they're so much more than volunteers. They're mentors, artists, caregivers, friends, helpers, drivers, shoppers, sandwich makers, meal givers, event planners, and more!

The team focuses their efforts in four main areas: Families, Children, the Homeless, and the Troubled. This means nourishing families with non-perishable food and provisions during tough times. From canned goods to home-cooked meals they're committed to helping families put healthy food on the table. It means supporting children's health, wellness, and education. We want children to be nurtured with loving care so that they can grow their hearts and minds. For our homeless community, whether it's sandwiches and bag lunches, care bags, or blankets, our goal is to provide comfort for those who are most in need of God's mercy.

Volunteering with local organizations or being on a team like Community Care can increase your social relationships, help combat anxiety, depression, and feelings of loneliness, increase self-confidence, give you a sense of purpose, and make you feel more connected to others.
