Pastor Melody grew up in Franklin, TN where her mother still lives. She has been called at Faith Lutheran in Knoxville, TN (Farragut, TN), Redeemer Lutheran Church in Atlanta, and Christ Lutheran in Charlotte. She attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN for her Master of Divinity, Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC for her Master in Arts of Religion, and is a tried and true Tennessee Volunteer! Pastor Melody received her Bachelors from the University of Tennessee. On Saturdays in the fall, she'll be wearing orange and watching the Vols play football.
Pastor Melody is partners in ministry and life with her husband Pastor Matt. The job she takes the most pride in is a mother of five children. Their ages range from 2nd grade to college graduate.
Pastor Melody loves watching movies with her husband and kids– not the girly movies that make her cry but action and adventure. She enjoys cooking good food and loves running. She's not very fast but can go the distance! Last fall, Pastor Melody ran her 17th half marathon, and is training for another one soon!
